HerpLink.com is the reciprocal links page
for the DHS3 Reptile web pages. These pages include Crotalus & Company, The Venom-Center, The online reptile encyclopedia,
Wisconsin Reptiles, Hybrid Herps, Chondroboards.com, Eyelash Pit vipers and of
course HerpLink.com. As well as being a
Links page for all of my sites combined. I am in hopes that this
will also become a stand alone reptile web site database. In
time I plan on categorized pages for reptile breeders, Herp
Societies, Reptile rescues and more. A single source if you will to
find reptile related websites from all over the world.
So how
do you get your site listed you ask? Well it is quite easy, all you
have to do is link to one of my sites. In return I will list your
site here. Pick any site you like and place a link on your page. If
you wish you can link to more than just one. Those that do choose to
link to a few of my sites will get their site listed higher on the
HerpLink Page. This of course will increase the likeliness that your
site is visited.
There are only a few simple rules for this.
First your site must be reptile related. It also must be an active
content page. Those parked pages or link farms will not be accepted.
Second I must be able to find the links from your home page. They do
not need to be on your home page, but i must be able to follow site
navigation to find them. Example would be through a links
page.
Once you have linked to one or more of my sites, send
me an email admin@herplink.com with the url
of your site. If you linked to 4 or more include your banner or your
banner location on your site. If you linked to 3 be sure to include
a short descriptions "I reserve the right to modify this as needed"
Once I verify you have linked to me I will return the
link.
If you choose to link to 4 or more of the sites above
in return your site will get a 234 x 60 pixel banner placed on
HerpLink.com.
Linking to 3 or more of my pages will get you
a text link with a site description.
Links to 2 of my sites
will get you a simple large text link with the title of your
site.
Linking to a single page is all that is needed to get
listed. This will be a simple name link. It will most likely get you
the lowest return in traffic but will help in your link relation for
search engines.
This concept and site is new, Current traffic
trends are low. However all of my sites recieve over 1 million
visitors a year. If even 1% of them us this links page there will be
some great traffic flowing through this site. The potential for you
to dramatically increase the traffic to you reptile related website
is large.
